It just wouldn't do to put a monster of a machine like this into one of those pansy desktop towers... seems like such a waste considering the kind of hardware we're running here.  We really want a nice roomy case, plenty of space for drives, plenty of cooling, and of course plenty of power for all those lovely devices we have.  Of course our case will be running rather hot as well, mostly from the hard drives than from the CPUs since we're not doing any overclocking... in any case the *seven* 92mm fans that the case is equipped with should keep things nice and cool.  And to boot there is also rpm detection to make sure that all the fans are running at optimal levels and nothing inside is melting. The redundant 400W power supply should keep everything running smoothly, and come on, this just looks like a badass case.  As a bonus you can also get in a rack mount version if you're the kind of person that likes to keep all their computers in one nice tidy rack to admire.

Imagine the perfect game, you're leading the server, can't miss a shot, fragging everything in site level after level... no one can touch you. Then, suddenly, the lights go out, your screen goes blank, your perfect moment ruined... imagine the whole world being able to hear you scream. We've built the ultimate gaming system here, it seems stupid that we would allow this system to go down just because the power grid is having problems... a true gamer will game in the dark, play while the city is blacked out, and of course hope that their ISP is still up and running otherwise it'll be single player until they get back online. With a typical 8 hours of backup time and 8 outlets this should keep you, your machine, your stereo, and even your beer fridge up and running in a blackout... all the essentials.  And, if the blackout does last longer than 8 hours you can always hot swap out batteries until you run out of them... in theory you can go forever provided you have enough spare battery modules that are charged.  Even if the game server tanks on you... it might just be possible to snag a screenshot of your incredible game while you're still up and running... the evidence of your mad skillz will be preserved.
