Even if you must have wireless access, don't buy this PDA.  You're going to be paying an awful lot for just one feature.  The VII's tiny RAM also makes this a bad decision.  Sure you'll have that kick-ass wireless feature, but absolutely no room to save anything.

Don't get me wrong, I think a wireless Palm is a really cool idea, it's just that the VII implements it horribly wrong.  Don't forget that you'll also need to sign up for Palm.net service, which will probably set you back about $20 a month.  Palm.net is the only service you can use, too.

Don't waste your money on this one, just buy a IIIxe and a wireless-add on modem and you'll be set.

Intended For: People that will pay out the ass for wireless access, yet still want RAM.

Okay, I'm going to be honest with you.  If you're actually going to pay $500 just for a wireless Palm w/ 8mb of RAM, just get a freaking PocketPC device, you don't deserve a Palm.

The VIIx has all the right features now, you're just paying a horribly inflated price.   If I'm going to pay $500 for a PDA it better have simulated sex with me, or mow the lawn, or fix the hole in the O-Zone layer.  Because $500 is just too damn much to pay.

The Palm VIIx does none of these things. I said above, and therefore is just a complete waste of money.  Once again I must recommend you get a IIIxe and a add-on wireless modem, you'll be much happier.

Conclusion

You're going to be glad you got any one of these PDAs if you don't have any right now, the only thing is with the m100, IIIe, V, and VII your happiness is going to be cut short by Palm's stingy RAM allotment, and if you get the IIIc, Vx, or VIIx your happiness will be shortened by the fact that you can't sit down because Palm has bent you over to extract much more money than they should have from your wallet.  At this point in time, the perfect PDA to own is the IIIxe.  All the others offer either too little, or not enough for their price.
