coolIf the techie on your list is a gamer, then this is the perfect gift. If you want to have a mousing surface built specifically for gamers, then it doesn't get much better  than the Ratpadz. Created by that crazy overclockers over at HardOCP, the Ratpadz is built by gamers for gamers.  This mousing surface is the least expensive way to improve your Quake game. Nothing says Merry Christmas like a mouse with no ball! The red glow coming from under the MS IntelliMouse Explorer just screams Christmas! The IntelliMouse Explorer comes with six programmable buttons and a really nice feeling wheel. The only bad thing about it is  your Techie has to be right handed because MS doesn't make a left handed version.  When combined with the Ratpadz, this becomes the ultimate under $100 Christmas gift combo for all the gamers on your list.

AMD 700Mhz Duron

For the budget conscious, the 700 MHz Duron from AMD asserts itself as a CPU to be reckoned with. Economically, you can't go wrong, and in terms of performance, this bad boy screams! The chip is also highly overclockable, with most being able to run stable at 900Mhz and few making it all the way to the magic 1 Ghz level. 1000Mhz for less than $100? Amazing.
