The Tech Zone Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide

Written: 12/15/2000
Written By: Moto®

What do you give the techie who has everything? That's the ultimate question. If you have an impossible person to buy for, then this is the list for you. If you want to spend an insane amount of money on some really expensive (and sometimes stupid) tech stuff, this is also the list for you! We search the world to bring you the most unique and outrageously high priced toys the world has ever seen. Let's begin with the $2,000 mouse.

18-Karat Gold Mouse
Price: $2000.00

You think for the price Wallace Silversmiths wants for their mouse, it would at least include a wheel, but no! All you get is two buttons. The price does include monogramming your name on it so everyone will know you were stupid enough to buy a mouse that cost as much as a computer. Ships in a nice blue velvet case. If the 18K gold mouse is too much for your blood, Wallace also makes a $25 silver plated model and a $200 Sterling silver unit.

Handmade Leather Mouse Pad
Price: $40.00

This is the perfect pad to rest your $2,000 mouse. It takes a full day to produce one hand made leather mouse pad and when you take that into account, the $40 price tag seems reasonable. The leather pad comes with a life time warranty and is made by Mulholland Brothers. Custom orders are welcome. Mouse pads made in black leather, alligator skin, or branded with logo or your initials can all be done. All it takes is money.

The Mood Mouse
Price: Mouse: $149.00 Pad: $25.00

The mood mouse and its matching mood pad changes colors when it comes in  contact with body heat; just like the mood ring (if you remember those). The wireless mouse talks to your computer using a radio transmitter and is compatible with all computer systems. No word on whether the price includes batteries. Made by Oberhofer Hand Crafted Computer Products.
