The 2001 International Consumer Electronic Show is over and boy what a show. More than 122,000 industry professionals from 120 countries came to Las Vegas this week to see the cutting edge in digital technology. The world's largest annual technology tradeshow, featuring 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space, wrapped up today after four days of conference sessions, keynote speeches and exhibits of the latest developments in consumer electronics technology. For those who didn't make it to the big show, we present our picture tour of some of the cool toys we found while cruising the show floor.

A shot of the show floor on opening day. Wall to wall people.

These leather mouse mats were really nice but I wouldn't trade my Ratpadz for them.

Be very careful of smiling robots. You never know what they really want until it's too late.

The Krell mono block amp. 500 watts of pure Class A power. You need two to do stereo, five to do Dolby 5.1. Price? $50,000 each!
