Here is a picture of the cable that would attach to the
SCSI drive.

Notice the Red stripe, this indicates Pin 1.
On some drives you may notice a jumper called Parity and
Block. Leave this Jumper set to ON. Parity is a feature that enhances the
reliability of the SCSI bus. Set it to OFF only if your SCSI controller
specifically requests that parity by disabled. Block is to be left off unless
your working in a UNIX environment and want to boot from your CD-ROM drive.
Here is the back of an Ultra-2 SCSI LVD Hard Drive.

On the far left side of this drive, you can see the 68-pin
connector. Your 68 pin cable would attach here. This is the same for Ultra Wide,
but for Ultra-2

sure to use a proper Ultra-2 rated cable. To the right of the pin connector
you can see more jumper settings. In this case these can be ignored, because on
the front of the drive are all the jumper settings you will need to set. Here is
a close up of where you would set the jumpers.
