Overclocking Case Project II

Written
: 7/18/2000Before you guys say, "Damn that guy must be deaf by now" it's not really that
loud. This entire project started about 7 months ago near X-Mas time when I
received a Dremel. Of course being a lazy bum that I am I just finished the
project a few days ago.
Now this project should show you a way to REALLY cool
down your case, give it a nice look, and not spend a ton of money on it. What I
will show you to do is add 4 blowholes and Plexiglas to the side panel of your
case.
Before we start a few words of advice... Always use
protective safety goggles and gloves if possible. Always keep your mouth closed
and be properly dressed to avoid skin damage.
The Equipment
1. The Case

InWin Q500 If you are not familiar with this case click
here
to find out its specs. I think this is one of the best cases out there next to
the Addtronics 7896.
2. The Fans

Boxer 120mm. I have never ever seen these fans being
sold anywhere before. I got them from a good friend. They are rated at about 110
cfm. Odds are you won't be able to find these so I suggest Sunnon 120mm fans
from here.
3. Fan Grills 120mm
Regular fan grills. These just came with the fans, you
can pick them up from any online store. I suggest
thecardcooler.com
because I have always done good business with them.
4. Plexiglas

Flex-O-Glaze You can just pick this up at any hardware
store and they should cut it to the size you want. Not expensive either, I
bought a sheet of 32x30 for $9.95.
5. Tape
Duct Tape You can pick this up from any hardware store,
later I'll explain the use for this.
