Unreal D3D
On to the D3D rendering of Unreal. As mentioned before,
version 225f of Unreal had some D3D enhancements, so the framerates are noticably higher
than 224.

First off, you'll probably notice that 16bit color flies in D3D
Unreal. Although still not up to Voodoo3 Glide standards, it is a marked improvement
over OpenGL. Again, Unreal scales very well to processor power, especially as
resolution decreases.
The fps drop going to 32bit color seems a bit larger than in OpenGL
Unreal.
One thing of note is as the resolution rises, D3D frame rates fall
off much faster than OpenGL frame rates. At 1280x1024, the frame rates are very
similar between the two, however at 640x480, D3D is far higher.
Again, as seen in OpenGL, at lower resolutions, 16bit and 32bit are
very close, but as resolutions increase, 32bit color fps drops off faster.
Visually, D3D is reasonably good. Color saturation is much
like OpenGL, deep and rich. OK, I'm making myself hungry.
