The Making Of A Sound Off Show Car

A pair of MTX 8" sub woofers were mounted in the top of the dash. The enclosure was warp in Haulio and uses the defrost vent for a grill. Talk about sub base up front!

The beginning of the kick pods. They are sealed enclosures with banana plugs on top for easy servicing. Working with fiberglass became one of Tim's favorite things while making those pods.

Here is the finished kick panel. The speaker used was JL Audio Evolution XR525 5 1/4 Coaxial. To say they sound awesome is an understatement.  To finish off the pods Tim made custom grills trimmed in Houlio with a matching Toyota badge on the grill.

This view of the subs is from the inside of the cab. There are four MTX Thunder 5000 10" woofers mounted in a Aperiodic Enclosure. Tim still have use of the back seats and seat belts. Everything is trimmed in red Plexiglas, and white neon, while the subwoofer grill trim is covered in Houlio of course.
