The New Tech Zone Office

The Tech Zone is equipped with all the amenities of home. Our LAN party room has a full size Coke machine and cable TV. On order are a couple of pinball machines and a foosball table.  

The Coke machine is an interesting story. Coca Cola told us we needed 24 employees in order to qualify for a Coke machine of that size. Of course we don't have 24 employees but our LAN can accommodate 24 LAN party users so we told them "Ya! We have 24 employees! Bring it over!". Now we just have to drink enough to make them think we really do have 24 people working here.  

The back of The Tech Zone is a full scale workshop. There is a bay door, table saw, air compressor, full set of air tools and a big toolbox full of Craftsman and Snap On tools. The air compressor is great for blowing the dust out of the comps. You can also see a BBQ in the above photo. Our next LAN party will be a LAN/BBQ party. :)

As you can see, The Tech Zone office is nothing like a normal office. This is because The Tech Zone is not a normal business. To me, The Tech Zone is still a hobby and I intend to keep it that way. The new office reflects my idea of how to have fun and run a high traffic website at the same time.
