AMK Services
AMK Services was the first company to offer an "overclocker's"
case for general sales. Before then, the only way to get an overclocker's case
was to make it yourself. Since then, other manufacturers has entered this market
promising bigger and better performance. AMK Services has always been able to
stay a step ahead of the pack by offering very innovative cases at a price that
was lower than the competition. The new 292-3333 is AMK's newest overclocker's
case and it looks like AMK hit an out of the park home run with it.
Like all AMK cases, the numbers at the end of the name
tells the size and number of fans in the case. In this case, the 292-3333 has
four high power 3" Sunon fans. The 292-3333 is one good looking case. Its
dimensions are 17" high, 7" wide and 18.25" deep. This case has fair expansion
room. There are three 5.25" drive bays and three 3.25" drive bays.
The 292-3333 is one of the most user friendly cases I've
ever came across. This could very well be the ultimate tweaker's case. Among its
many unique features are:
- Completely tool free entry
- One thumb screw side panel removal
- PCI clamping system to eliminate the use of screws to
hold your PCI devices in place.
- Ability to change from tower to desktop layout
With a street price of just $99.95, the 292-3333 is $60
cheaper than the
Cyclone 5000 I reviewed yesterday and just 1/3 the price of the
CDI
Cool Case. Does a lower price mean lower performance? Let's find out.
