AMK 3333 Case Review

Written
: 9/18/2000At first glance, the AMK-3333 looks a bit like the Cyclone 5000 that was recently reviewed by HardOCP. Both are mid towers with a total of four fans to keep cool. The main difference is price. The AMK-3333 sells for $40 less.
Like all AMK case, the numbers in the name refers to the size of the fan and the number of fans. In this case the AMK-3333 has four 3.25" fan. One placed at the lower front to bring in cold air. Two are on the side of the case. They bring in cold air as well. The fourth fan is a blow hole placed on top of the case to exhaust hot air. All fans plug directly to the 300 watt power supply.
The AMK-3333 measures 16" long, 7.5" wide and 19.25" high. The case has space for three 5.25" drives and four 3.25" drives. The front panel is nice and clean. One of the best I've seen. I really like the 'S' bend they added front of the case. Gives it a nice Euro look.
