AMK 810 Case Review

The power supply used in the 810 is a 300 watt unit. You can upgrade to a 350 watt unit for if you want. You may want to consider that too as all the fans in the case consumes nearly 50 watts! The power supply is an ATX 2.01 unit. This just means that the power supply fan has been set to blow air out instead of in.

Speaking of fans, the AMK-810 has A LOT of them. Starting wth a 4.75" high power Sunon fan at the lower front to bring cool air in. The Sunon is rated to move 120 cubic feet of air per minute. All fans have pass though power connectors so you don't have to worry about the power supply running out of connectors (you may have to worry about your power supply running out of power however :-)).

Taking out the air that the intake fans brings in is the job of 4 fans mounted near the top of the case. There are 2 chimney fans on top of the case. A 4.75" unit and a 3" unit.

Here you can see the chimney fans and the two 3" exhaust fans mounted on the back of the case. The 3" fans are rated to move 30 cubic feet of air per minute.
