Two 4.75" and three 3" fans are not enough
for AMK. They had to add a "fan wall" too. On the side of the case are four
4.75" Sunon fans. The lower 2 fans are set to bring air in and the top 2 takes
the air out. If you don't like the configuration, you can always tell AMK to
change it or change it yourself. Personally I would like to see all the fans in
the "fan wall" blow in.

While all these fans adds up to a lot of air
movement, they also add up to a lot of noise. This is by far the loudest case
I've ever tested.
To test the AMK-810 I install the Project 620
system into it. The system normally resides in a special 24" In Win full tower
case.
So how does this case perform? Incredible!
With so much air being push though the case the system basically ran at room
temp of 75 degree. This is a good 3 to 5 degrees better than the Project 620
case. One of the benefits of those "blow holes" is that on hot days, you can
turn the computer to face you and have those big 4.75" fan blow air at you. If
you turn all four blow holes to blow at you, the case can really double as a
house fan. :-)
Do I recommend you get this case? Unless you
want to have one of the coolest system in the world, not really. It's total
overkill. While the performance is greater than any case I've ever tried,
including my own custom In Win, the extra cost and noise are not worth it.
However if you simply must have a super high performance case and you can't
afford a Kyrotech case, this may be it.
For most users who want a 24" AMK
overclocker's case, I would recommend the AMK-3344. This case is the same size
as the AMK-810 but doesn't come with so many fans. Performance is just a bit
less than the 810 but it's no where near as noisy. A lot cheaper too. You can
get the 3344 for $135US ($199.99 Canadian)

Right: AMK-3344 • Left: AMK-810
I know there are a few crazy overclockers out
there who will want the 810. All I can say is you're going to have one hell of a
high performance case. Just don't forget the ear plugs. :-)
