Global Win 802 ATX Case Review

The power supply used in the 802 is a 250 watt unit. You can upgrade to a 300 watt unit for $13 more. The power supply is ATX 2.01 compliant. This means the fan on the power supply have already been set to blow air out instead of in. The old ATX 2 standard calls for the power supply fan to blow into the case. Directly below the power supply is a space to mount an optional 3 inch exhaust fan.

Besides the 3 inch exhaust fan in the back there is room for a 3 inch intake fan up front. The fan housing also holds the computer speaker. The housing is a very unique shape, design to channel air into the case more efficiently. To make sure it get clean air, Global Win includes a filter at the front of the case

The case is very easy to modify if you need higher performance. Adding in a couple of blow holes is no problem and it's something that AMK Services will do for your Global Win if you so wish.
