Global Win 802 ATX Case Review

To test the Global Win case I decided to put the LAN party system in it. The LAN party system consists of an Abit BP6 and a couple of Celeron 366s running at 605Mhz.

So how does the 802 case perform? Really good! Global Win did a great job on this case. The temperature inside the case with two 3" fans was 91F with the system running at 605Mhz. This is 7F higher than the AMK LAN-0334. However, the Global Win case doesn't come with a big 4.75" blow hole fan. I'm sure if you add one to the case it would perform just as good if not better than the AMK LAN-0334.

The Global Win 802 has become my favorite mid size case. The many little extras Global Win put into this case really pays off. The riser card supporters, finishing caps, thumb screws all combine to make this one of the best case on the market today.

I intend to keep this case and do a "How To: Case Overclocking" guide based on it. The 802 is a good foundation to build on. Add a few blow holes, an extra fan here and there then watch out baby!

The price, at $85 is well worth it for all the features you get. The case looks good and performs good. With a few mods it will perform as good as the AMK overclocker cases.
