Initial Impressions:
When I was contacted by
the folks at Nerdsbyte.com and asked if I would be willing to review a couple
60mm fans by first reaction was, “Yeah, right! How do you review a fan?” and
“What could possibly make this fan any different than the YS Tech fans that I
bought with my Alpha P3125?” My skepticism multiplied by a factor of 10 when I
opened that package and saw two fans that were almost identical in appearance to
the ones I was using. But, Chris from
Nerdsbyte assured me that “These aren’t your everyday fans!” Well, he was
right! All it took was for me to install them and power up my computer for me
to realize that I definitely had something a little bit better than the rest.
The expression, “Looks can be deceiving.” definitely came into play here. I
hope I didn’t lose your attention. Here we go!
