JustCooler TT-900 Supplied by:
2CoolTek
Price: $23.75
The JustCooler TT-900 is a drive bay heat
extractor. It's designed to exhaust hot air from your computer system. The
TT-900 does this with twin 92mm fans that move 76 cubic feet of air per minute
out of your computer.
The design of the unit is very smart. While
most drive bay coolers uses small 1.5" fans on the drive bay face, the TT-900
uses 2 big 92mm fans on 2 levels. The fans are very quiet. They only produce 27
decibels of noise when operating at 2100 RPM. This is quieter than most case
fans. You won't be wasting any power supply connectors by using this product
because a 4 pin pass through connector powers the fans.
Installation is a 3 minute process. Just
remove your computer case cover, pop off a hard drive bay cover, slide the unit
into the drive bay, screw it down, connect the power and put case cover back on.
The unit is 8-1/4" deep by 5-3/4" wide by 1-2/3" high. You shouldn't have any
trouble getting the TT-900 to fit into most cases. For smaller cases you may
have to install it at the highest drive bay to avoid hitting the motherboard.
This unit goes deep into the case.

Depending on which drive bay you use, you can
mount the unit right side up or upside down (the above photos shows upside down
installation). The only down side to the setup is that it takes up 2 drive bays.
Yes, 2 drive bays. This is because the drive bay below the fans has to be empty
or the fans will be blocked off.
Performance wise, the unit does what it
claims to do. It's very quiet and does a great job of removing the hot air. When
installed in the
Project 620
case, it helps lower the case temp by 2 to 4F. This is quite a feat
considering how pimped out the Project 620 case is. When installed into an
average system, the TT-900 really comes into its own. In an average system, it
is able to lower system temp by a full 10F!
The TT-900 is best used as part of a complete
case cooling setup, provided you have well thought out intake and exhaust fans.
It will compliment any cooling setup, although you just have to make sure you
have 2 drive bays free.
Price at just $23.75 from
2CoolTek, the TT-900 may
be just what you need to get that hot air out of your system. I really like the
unit, not only for the performance, which is great, but on hot days you can aim
the sucker (blower?) at yourself and cool yourself down. :-)
