This side by side shot of the Taisol and the Alpha should
give you an idea of just how big the Taisol cooler is. In every measurements,
the Taisol makes the Alpha look small. The clip of the Taisol is also much
better than the Alpha. However, the Taisol doesn't offer tool free installation.
You will need a screw driver or a needle noise pliers to install and remove the
cooler.

The fan used on our Taisol test unit is a 60x25mm Delta
fan. The fan is spins a 6000 RPM and moves 30 cubic feet of air per minute. It's
by no mean quiet but it's not the noise maker the 7,200 RPM 38 CFM Deta fan is.
The fan is mounted to the heatsink using a fan plate. The fan came mounted from
Nerdsbyte blowing up but we found better performance with the fan blowing down.
The heatsink itself is made up of 120
aluminum fins. The clip is made from stainless steel and holds the heatsink
really tight. It is a bitch to remove once the cooler is installed however. On
the underside of the heatsink you will find a heatsink pad. The pad is easy to
remove should you wish to use heatsink compound instead.
