Epson PhotoPC 750Z Digital Camera Review

Here are some pictures I took. Click on the image for the full size photo. The photos were not enhanced or altered in any way. They were what came out of the PhotoPC 750Z. These first 6 shots were taken in standard 640 X 480 mode.

I found the photo quality of this camera to be excellent. Colors are bright and well saturated. Skin tone is very natural. The auto focus and flash takes a lot of the guess work out of taking high quality photos.

In standard 640 X 480 mode, the camera's 12 megs of memory can hold up 178 pictures. This will go down to 54 in high quality 1280 X 960 mode. You would use this mode if you're looking to print out the shots you take (There are 2 higher quality modes above this). For web publishing or viewing by computer or TV, standard mode is more than fine. Here are three photos taken in 1280 X 960 mode. They're very big and may take awhile to load for computers with slower connections.

You really can't tell much difference between standard and high quality mode by looking at them on a computer screen. The main different being the high quality photos are a lot bigger. However if you plan to print out your photos on a color printer like the Epson Photo Printer, then taking your pics in high quality mode does make quite a difference, especially if you want to blow the photos up. BTW - The output quality from the Epson Photo Printer is amazing!!!
