Capturing images is a straightforward affair. This is meant to
be a simple point and shoot camera, and that's really all you have to do. I took
many pictures with it, and did some reasonable comparison shots with my Kodak
DC-215, bumped down to 640x480 mode. All images are raw and un-retouced,
presented as the original jpg images. Here are some image comparisons...

Kodak

Largan
This is a cheesy little water fountain my wife put up...The fuzzy white junk,
is a ton of "spider web" stuff my wife thought looked great for Halloween. :P

Kodak

Largan
Just some pictures of my daughters hamming it up for no good reason. They
just cant seem to get enough of getting their pictures taken. ;)
By and large the biggest differences to be seen are the Kodak is a lot sharper,
and the colors are more vibrant. Remember the Largan is less than 1/2 the price,
and intended for a different market. Overall, the image quality is quite good,
and very passable. Although I no longer have access to the Creative WebcamGo/Go+
cameras, I can say with confidence, that the Largan has MUCH better image
quality, and better overall light sensitivity than either of the Creative
cameras. Indoor shots with the Largan are just as good as the outdoor pics
above. The Creative products are all but unusable indoors, unless you have
adequate scene lighting because they have no flash.
Overall, the digital camera portion of the Largan is good, and comparable to
other 640x480 mode digital cameras. Remember though, that this is a "Chameleon",
and is capable of functioning as a web camera. How does it do there?
