Largan Lmini 350 Digital Flip Camera Review

All in all the picture quality is quite good.
For the intended uses of a camera in this resolution range, I see nothing wrong
at all with it's image quality. It will not produce photo quality PRINT output
at any decent print size, but no 640x480 camera will. You can get "happy" with
bicubic spline interpolation in Adobe Photoshop, or use other supersampling
techniques and get workable smoothness in a 3.5"x5" print out of a camera with
this low resolution, but with a big trade-off in sharpness. I only mention the
above for educational purposes, not to belittle the Lmini. This type of camera
is targeted at the beginner digital photographer on a budget, and the beginner
just needs to be aware of what to expect, and not to expect out of a 640x480
resolution camera. The output of the Lmini is more than adequate for what you
would most likely be doing with a low cost digital. Website pictures, picture
layouts for personal documents, emailing friends and family, or just having fun.
I think the Largan "will" be a fun, simple to use,
camera. And unlike some sub $100 digital cameras, which I won't name, (but
you'll see them in your local Wal-Mart or Best Buy) your'e unlikely to be
disappointed.
Pros:
-
Inexpensive. At around $89 bucks on the web, not a
bad deal for a simple digital.
-
Features. It has all the basic, and
proper features a camera needs. Stay FAR FAR away from any digital camera
under $100 that doesn't have a flash, no matter how cheap. Even your 4 year
old wont like it.
-
Good picture quality.

8/10
