Introduction:

I know I'm probably not alone when I say that Abit has been "King of the BX Motherboards."  In my opinion, I really believe that Abit has done the best job of exploiting every drop of performance from the venerable Intel BX chipset.  Plus, they've always been very innovative in their endeavors.  It always seemed that Abit came out with a great BX performer and everyone else followed Abit's lead.

With the i440BX chipset approaching it's "end of life" (even though it still performs better than most *new* technology such as the i815 and VIA 133a chipsets in many aspects) Abit has produced an excellent board as its "swan song" in the BX line of motherboards.  I can't think of a better way to send the BX off into retirement.   Solid, stable, and feature rich...  This is the final chapter in Abit's BX saga, but will it be the best?
