BX133-RAID
"This RAID isn't for cockroaches..."
Performance:
The main areas
I'm going to focus on are how well does this motherboard overclock and how well
the ATA-100 and RAID array perform. I have a Celeron 2 566 to see how far I can
overclock it and I also have a P3-667EB to check and see how far I can overclock
it past 133 FSB. I'm also going to take a look at some memory, CPU, and video
benchmarks with a Celeron 2 566 and a P3-667EB for comparison's sake. Here
are the other significant components on the test rig in this review:

The Benchmark Programs
-
CPU Benchmark (Dhrystone & Whetstone)
-
CPU Multimedia Benchmark (MMX & SSE)
-
Memory Benchmark (CPU & FPU bandwidth)
-
Drives Benchmark
No... I'm not just randomly choosing benchmarks just to fill up space. The
benchmark programs I chose to use were not only meant to show how this board
performs... I also wanted to measure overclocking limits of each CPU on this
motherboard and the differences in performance between the coppermine Celeron 2
and P3.
