To test the A7V, I used an unlocked Duron 600 from Lowlight over at HardCoreWare. How do you unlock it? The easiest way is to use this applet over at OCInsider. Once unlocked and installed it was time to see just how far the A7V can take the little Duron.
908Mhz. Has a nice ring to it doesn't it? Not bad for a CPU that can be had for less than $60! How does it perform?
As you can see, the performance of the Duron at 900Mhz is not that far off the performance of a 1000Mhz Pentium 3! Not bad for $60, huh?
