Price: $35.00 US
Manufactured by: AVB Tech

Introduction:

I'm going to try to do this whole review without pointing all of the obvious porn jokes that can be made about a vibrating mouse, or anything that vibrates for that matter. Just so I get it out now, if you're feeling a bit lonely, have a few bills to spend, and have lots of hardcore techno you can play over your computer... perhaps this mouse is for you. If that doesn't apply to you, the rest of this review might yield some worthwhile information.

Installation:

Installation really doesn't get much more trivial than this. Plug the mouse into your USB port, attach the sound pass through connector, and install the drivers. Drivers and software are provided on a CD that comes with the product and can also be downloaded from the company's web site. So once you're plugged in, and installed, all you have to do is reboot and you're all set to go.

Physical Features:

Vmouse Photo

The Vmouse is pretty much a generic looking mouse, not much you can really do to mix up the shape of a mouse without making it completely useless (iMac anyone?) About equivalent in size to the Microsoft Intellimouse with Intellieye, the mouse has a slightly raised and tapered back to accommodate the vibration mechanism. This isn't an optical mouse which means you've got a standard mouse ball underneath, also a standard button configuration with two top mounted buttons and a scroll wheel. The mouse is also symmetrical in shape which means it should work equally well for left or right handed users.

Rounding out the package is a standard USB connector with an audio pass through cable. The audio pass through cable is rather short which may be an issue for people running USB ports and sound outputs on opposite sides of their case, otherwise there should be no problems connecting things.
