Logitech Optical Mouse Review

The Wheel Mouse Optical is the least expensive of the group, and I feel is probably the most adaptable model to people with smaller hands, or to people that are left handed. The Mouseman Wheel Optical sports a form fitting design that isn't ambidextrous so lefties, take note. It is a comfortable design, and for those of us (myself) who are seeing the beginnings of carpal tunnel syndrome, a form fitting design such as this one, should be more comfortable for extended use. I found it to be more comfortable than my MS Intellimouse Explorer, although it did take a day or so to get used to the shape.

The "Ifeel" mouse is the most intriguing of the three. I'm still undecided on how ultimately useful (or perhaps potentially annoying) the Touchsense feedback feature is. It can help with your accuracy "acquiring" objects on web pages or your desktop, that's for certain. And the Touchsense level of "feel" can be dialed up or down to suit your tastes. I do certainly see the potential for benefit of this technology to those who are visually impaired, and it will be interesting to see how universally this technology will be adopted in the future.

As the leader in PC desktop input devices, Logitech has shown me with these 3 models, that they still have what it takes to design outstanding pointing devices. With the inclusion of optical technology, they've also brought us extra precision and hopefully reliability. If you're tired of throwing away mice, because you've worn them out mechanically, or are just sick of cleaning balls, Logitech's newest optical offerings should be at the top of your list! Highly recommended!
