ENERMAX ULTRA COOL EG451P-VE 450w Power Supply

Bottom Line/ Conclusion:

The Enermax Ultra Cool 450 watt is a great power supply!  It's feature rich and provides impeccable resources under the heaviest of loads.  For what I'm doing this is the ultimate power supply!  Sometimes that 250 or 300 watt power supply just doesn't cut it anymore.  Multiple hard disks, CDRW, CDROM, and DVD drives, and a multitude of other components used in today's configurations dictates the need for an ample reserve of power.

You're in luck even if you don't want or need 450 watts worth of raw power.  Bigfoot Computers also offers a 350 watt model that costs a little bit less than the 450 watt model.  And Bigfoot Computers offers the greatest value by far on these power supplies based on what I've taken note of around the net right now.

Another huge bonus is that they ships internationally, too!   Basically, a power supply upgrade is an ideal and cost effective upgrade if you want to keep up with the rising power demand of today's computers and also if you want to be prepared for future upgrades.  The price tag is right on par with other quality power supplies with a lower power rating.

I recommend this power supply without reservation and I'm keeping this one for my personal system!

Good:

  • Outstanding performance

  • Excellent value

  • Plenty of juice for any situation! (Great reserve +12v = 15 Amps)

  • Incredible features (Dual ball bearing clear fans, Ultra Quiet, Fan Monitoring, Long Cables, etc.)

Bad:

  • Nothing worth mentioning!

Rating: 9.5/10
