At this point I said WTF and went for it all. I was able to
boot into Windows stable at 150mhz but at 155mhz it would lock up on post. Just
to prove it here is a screen shot of WCPUID showing 150mhz memory bus.
And here are the benchmarks running 150Mhz
For PC100 memory that I bought almost 2 years ago this
Mushkin SDRAM kicks major ass. A lot of "budget" SDRAM bought today has problems
running much over 133mhz but this Mushkin SDRAM runs 150mhz stable. As you can
see, I went from 346/379 running it at the spec of 100mhz CAS3 to getting
511/568 running 150mhz. That is an almost perfect 50% improvement expected but
what I did not expect was to have this RAM run totally stable at 150mhz.
I give total props to Mushkin and we now see why they deserve their well earned
reputation.
