The S4 MidiLand 7100 is a complete surround sound speaker system. The system comes with 5 main speakers, a big sub box with 6.5" driver and a control panel that fits any 5.25" drive bay.

The amp is rated at 100 watts. They are divided up so that 10 watts goes to each satellites and the remaining 50 watts goes to the sub woofer. The S4 MidiLand 7100 is Dolby Pro Logic and Dolby Digital AC-3 ready. Too bad there are no Pro Logic computer sound cards on the market to take advantage of it at this time.

Most newer sound cards support A-3D or EAX. Both of these standard don't include support for a center channel speaker. So if you're just using the S4 MidiLand 7100 for computer speakers, you'll never hear the center speaker come on. However the system does come with connectors for you to plug in any home Pro Logic of AC-3 decoder, making for one   nice computer theatre system.
