Here comes an extremely unusual product review here at The Tech Zone. Let me tell you how it all started. About a month ago I was chatting with Zero, about the article he had done on case modification a few days earlier called "The Ultimate Overclocking Case Project". I'd brought up the fact that I'd just seen one of these "infomercials" about a new product from the Rotozip Corporation, called the Rotozip Revolution. It seemed like an extremely useful all around hobbyist and tradesman tool, which led me to wonder aloud to him whether or not this would be a good tool for use in PC case modification tasks. Zero said "Well, why don't you email them, and request a unit to evaluate." And of course I did right at that moment.

Since then I have had massive problems with lost email from my ISP (who shall remain {cough @Home cough} nameless) and never gave it a second thought. Lo and behold, what shows up at my door the other day, but a big fat box from Rotozip Corporation, with their new Rotozip Revolution Spiral Saw, fitted case, ZipMate grinding/cutting/sanding attachment, a full press kit, and even some keychains! Regardless of how this review comes out in the end, I've got to give credit to Rotozip Corporation, for offering the tool for review in the first place. I honestly never expected a specialty tool manufacturer to give a PC hardware site the time of day. So here it is, the Rotozip Revolution!

(Authors Note: Various snags here at home, and with my job (my day job....you know, the one that pays the bills) have pushed this article a couple of weeks further out than I had wanted it to be. Of course a few mistakes here and there, lots of playtime with the tool, and some general experimenting with it's capabilities when I've had time the last few weeks, has helped firm up my opinions of what you can and cannot expect from this tool. At any rate, back to the business at hand)
