If there ever was a Swiss Army knife of TNT2 cards, the Asus V3800 Ultra Deluxe would be it. This video card has almost everything under the sun. Equipped with TV out, S-Video in/out and VR glasses, the Asus 3800 doesn't lack for features. The TNT2 Ultra chip runs at the recommended 150/183. Like all TNT2 Ultra, the V3800 comes with a small heatsink fan. The 32 Megs of RAM used are rated at 5.5ns.

Unlike most TNT2 cards, the Asus V3800 has all its RAM on one side of the card.  Other 32 Meg TNT2 cards (like the Viper V770) has half its RAM on the front and the other half on the back. The way Asus did it is a really good idea. It made cooling the RAM chips a lot easier during my overclocking test. Asus seems to have designed this card with overclocking in mind. The heatsink is really easy to remove. It's like Asus is saying "Come on! Remove that small sink and put a real cooler on it! We even put all the RAM chips on one side of the card to make it easier for you to cool." During the overclocking test I was able to get the card running 100% stable at a blistering 195Mhz core and 245Mhz memory!

One thing I notice on the box that V3800 came with was a sticker stating "Notice!! We do not recommend using this card with ALi chipset motherboards." Oh well, so much for super 7 owners.

For those of you with an Intel based system, you'll in for one hell of a ride when you fire this baby up. Let's rock.
