You're are looking at the Swiss Army knife of GeForce 256 cards. The Asus V6600 Deluxe has almost every feature under the sun. Equipped with TV out, S-Video in/out and 3D VR glasses, the V660 doesn't lack for features. The only thing you're really missing is a TV tuner and that's an option!

Powered by the nVidia GeForce 256 chipset and 32 megs of SGRAM, the Asus V6600 is one of the fastest video cards you can buy. Asus really packed a lot into the Deluxe, including one for the best game bundle I've ever seen. You get full versions of Drakan and Rollcage plus 12 other game demos.  In addition to the games, there is also an AsusDVD software player and a copy of Ulead Video Studio. All in all, a great package of software.

Asus decided to use SGRAM on their GeForce 256 card instead of SDRAM like most other GeForce vendors. The use of faster SGRAM gives the V6600 a performance head ups on the competition. The RAM is rated at 5ns, which is good enough to run at 200Mhz. However it comes set from the factory at 166Mhz.

The GeForce 256 chip itself runs at 120Mhz and is cooled by a small heatsink fan which is held in place by a spring clip. The cooler is easy enough to remove if you want to do some serious overclocking with the card.

Priced at $299, the V6600 Deluxe is among the most expensive of the GeForce 256 cards out there. However you do get a lot for your money. For those who don't need all the toys that the Deluxe offers, you can go with the V6600 PURE. This is same card without the TV out and 3D VR glasses.
