In the Box and First Impressions

The subwoofer is a little bigger than what I’m used to, especially since the eight-incher comes in a relatively large ported box. The satellites are also a fair bit taller than most PC speakers, measuring almost a foot tall. The glossy piano black finish is very classy, but the silver trim around the satellites takes a little away from this prestigious appearance.

It’s also quite notable that you will find no physical controls on the subwoofer or the satellites. Everything is controlled through the provided Media Center remote. On the lower portion of the right satellite, you’ll find a hidden orange display behind the glossy black cover. This only illuminates when the speakers are in use.
Real Time Price
Wow another 2 speaker and a sub Surround sound system. Why can’t they just call it waht it really is, stereo sound and a Sub. To even put Surround sound on the box is just crazy! How do 2 front speakers surround anything?
