Let’s Tap for Nintendo Wii Review

Five Multiplayer Party Games

The Nintendo Wii is the home to many mini-games and Sega’s Let’s Tap is no exception.

Let’s Tap is comprised of five “unique multiplayer party games.” All of these mini-games can be played by a single player or by up to four friends at the same time. The five games are Tap Runner, Rhythm Tap, Silent Blocks, Bubble Voyager, and Visualizer.

Tap Runner (and Hurdles)

Tap Runner has your faceless character run from the left end of the stage to the right end of the stage. When playing by yourself, you automatically match up against three CPU opponents.

The faster you tap, the faster your character will run. It’s a race to the finish line, of course, so you’ll want to get there before anyone else. Softer taps get your character to run, while stronger taps get your character to jump.

The latter is necessary to clear hurdles, jump over obstacles, and so on. The courses get a little more complex as you proceed through the different levels. This can make for a pretty fun and novel party game experience, and it’s one that anyone can play.
